Openings for Engineers, Field Inspectors and Technicians
AG&E has openings for engineers, field inspectors and laboratory technicians. Engineering duties involve classifying soils and rock, performing soils and foundation analyses, selecting foundation types, and preparing reports. Field inspection duties involve conducting compaction and concrete tests, approving footing subgrade, and performing other construction-related tests. The inspectors and technicians assist engineers with recording field data, preparing boring logs and profiles, and preparing reports for clients.All candidates should be proficient in mechanics, mathematics, and computer software programs including MS Word and Excel. Auto CAD skill is a definite plus. Candidates for engineering positions preferably be an M.S. graduate in Civil Engineering and should have a good analytical background in soil mechanics and foundation engineering.
